The International Eucharistic Congress was held in Dublin in June 2012. Our diocese, Kildare and Leighlin, hosted a Diocesan Eucharistic Congress in March 2012. Each school in the diocese was invited to design a small square cloth as part of the altar cloth which was used in the final mass on Saturday March 10th. The altar cloths are available for use in parishes in our diocese. Our school submitted a beautiful piece of cloth designed by one of our teachers, Ms. Celine Kennedy, and inspired by drawings of the pupils of Ms. Kelly’s 2nd Class that year.
