Patronage / Ethos Preference

Before the summer, the results of the Primary School Survey were shared. The results for the patronage / ethos preference for the school were not conclusive. 54% of the school community responded to the survey. Of those who responded 46% preferred a multi-denominational (non-religious) patron and 54% preferred a denominational (Catholic) patron. There was a 5.2% Margin of Error. Therefore a more detailed engagement with the shool community is needed before processing the data and thus deciding on how our school goes forward.

If you wish to give your input on this matter please do so using the following email address by 15th October 2026: patronage.ethos@sallinsns.ie
