Next Generation EU Funded Project
This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at tackling the digital divide and supporting our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a result, as part of Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU. This funding was used to purchase tablets for students’ use, Beebots, and Lego WeDo 2.0 kits.

EU Code Week 2022
To celebrate EU Code Week 2022 our pupils engaged in different coding activities throughout this two week period. Some pupils enjoyed coding with our Lego WeDo 2.0 Kits and our Bee Bots while others completed coding projects using Scratch Junior and Minecraft Hour of Code Challenge. The activities were enjoyed by all and we look forward to continuing developing our digital skills throughout the year.
